System brief                      – Oversea Workers applied Oversea Worker identification Card to Department of Labour, Yangon. The office collected photos, application and personal data. The applications are registered, checked and approved applications are printed OWIC. Then Department of Labour, Yangon, sent data to Yangon International Airport (Myanmar Migrant Workers’ reporting counter) and stored in the server. All OWIC holders must report to Yangon International Airport Myanmar Migrant Workers’ reporting counter on departure/arrival. The counter accepted OWIC from oversea workers, read with Document Reader and verified with the stored data in the server. Verified OWIC holders are approved departure/arrival.
